"Geekszilla is happy to announce our first two day Kings of War tournament, Not only is it our first two day event its our first sanctioned Mantic event.
The tournament is a qualifier for our champion to go to CoK 2020, the prize goes to the highest ranked Mantic army. to qualify as a full Mantic army you need at least 90% mantic miniatures in it.

You do not need to have a Mantic army to enter the competition, this is just a bonus if you do.
Also my standard rules regarding painting, it's about the game not your skills with a brush so there is no minimum painting requirements.

The King Beyond the Wall #KingsOfWar tournament is back for the First time in Third edition, and it's gonna be a BIG one.

The date is Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 2nd of March.

The plan is to run three games over the course of the first day, then a further two on day two.
Day one will kick off at ten with two hours of play taking us to 12 noon.
Then half an hour to get results in with lunch running from then (or when your game ends) till 1.30pm
The second game from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Another half hour for result reporting, then the last game from 4pm to 6pm.

Day two will start at 10am with the first game (4) kicking off at 10.30am
Till 12.30pm
Lunch till 1.30pm
Game 5 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
then the prize giving.

The five scenarios will be randomly determined on the day I'll get someone to roll for it at the time, this means no one can build for a specific scenario,
The Format Will be standard KoW 3rd edition rules.
It will be 2000 point (TBC) armies and all currant lists are allowed.
We will not be using siege rules at this time.
Chess Clocks will be used with a game time limit of one hour per player (So two hours per game)

Common Ground games has space for 40 players,it has a cafe facility with hot and cold drinks and a variety of food on offer (burgers, toasties, Panini etc.).

We will endeavour to include lunch both days included in the ticket price/

Remember CCG also has a store selling many games and gaming products so bring along cash and support this awesome venue.

I will not be entering as a player this time but standing in as a spare if needed to even out the numbers, I will not be eligible for any prizes in the very unlikely event I place in the top three.

Tickets TBC

I will endeavour to get a participation prize for everyone again this time.

Thanks and as always I look forward to seeing you all there.
